The word, in character, was different from God Almighty and God the spirit by those life giving properties. His desire was to give life and become life – God incarnate in human form to restore a broken relationship between human being and God.
Good intentions were that by this time, the start of Lent, would see me able to publish a Lenten study – a series of daily devotions that would take as their basis the apostle’s creed. Reality is the whole study is not complete, but, starting today, I will repost revised sections and hopefully continue one…
A new Liturgy
The power of repeating the words in the creed is manifest in two ways.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord;
Walking with God is sometimes difficult.
Walking with God is often amazing.
Walking with God brings results.
My epiphany from yesterday.
Take of your sandals for this is holy ground
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ his only Son
God: Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient formed our world. After each achievement He “saw that it was good” until the last when he formed man. Then He saw that all He had formed was “very good”.
By the power and humility of the cross I can now call on El Shaddai as Adonai – God my creator becomes my Lord and Father.
