How important is a name? It is our identity. In a roomful of chattering teachers we will hear and pick out our name mentioned above other words. When people we admire call us by name it gives us a lift. When we receive letters or e-mails or cards even notes addressed to us it makes us feel wanted, special. It builds up a relationship between ourselves and the one addressing us.
This post is all about recent events. Introduction: I had to go to Hartford to the Greyhound Bus Station in order to exchange my return bus ticket to Canada; wanting to return a couple of days earlier than first planned.
I was delighted to learn that my grandchildren’s school were holding the Spring Book Fair this week and I was able to volunteer to help.
Flour, dough, improvised rolling pins, cinnamon, sugar, butter, sticky fingers and patience finally yielded the reward of sweet smelling, delicious cinnamon buns.
Yesterday was a great day!

Grandma has arrived in U.S.A. and was delighted to be met by the whole family eager to give hugs, say hello and tell me how pleased they were to see me. What a witness to my fellow travellers of a wonderful family!
